Terms of use

Last updated 12 October 2026

The short version: whatever the co-driver says, the traffic rules come first, and you are always the one responsible behind the wheel.

Safety

Traffic rules first

Pace notes never overrule traffic law, road signs, speed limits or common sense. Whatever the co-driver calls, the law and the situation on the road always come first.

Eyes on the road

Never operate the phone while driving. Set everything up before you start, mount the phone, or let a passenger be your co-driver.

Notes can be wrong

Pace notes are generated automatically from map data. They can be inaccurate, mistimed or missing, and the road may have changed. Treat them as entertainment — not as navigation and never as an instruction.

Race pace belongs on closed roads

Drive at competitive speed only on closed stages or private terrain, with permission. On public roads, use the app within the speed limit.

Liability

You are the driver

You remain fully and solely responsible for your vehicle, your speed and every decision behind the wheel, at all times.

No liability

The app is provided “as is”, without any warranty. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer accepts no liability for accidents, damage, injuries, fines or any other consequences arising from the use — or misuse — of Triple Caution.

Agreement

By using Triple Caution you accept these terms. Follow the rules above and the app never asks anything unlawful of you: it speaks, you drive responsibly.
